1. Legacy of sycophancy

Even in the seminars/workshops of the Branch which are locally arranged and barely inhibited by the members, your office bearers have found a unique way of wasting precious time and money of the members - by presenting bouquet to few and that too by involving members without taking their prior consent. This is totally ridiculous and sheer wastage of time. I strongly condemn it and ask our learned Chairman to take a note of it and seek prior permission of the members before indulging their names in this bizarre show of sycophancy as exhibited yesterday.

2. CPE Fee

(a) What is the rational of fixing CPE Fee as 225/- on spot and 200 in advance. In cases where programs are being held in outside building, advance payment by members do help to meet the obligation of the branch for advance deposit of booking amount. But what is the need to ask for advance fee by the branch itself? Is it some kind of promotional sales drama going on here? Any excuses?????

(b) What is meant by "on spot" payment. There is a mysterious silence as to what would constitute "on the spot" and what would not?

(c) Does our learned chairman made online payment arrangement or arranged any person or to visit the respective offices of all the members to collect the advance fee? or does he assumes that members should visit the branch twice from every nook and corner of the city just to give advance money? Is the branch going to be run by this bankrupt attitude of few ?

3. Speakers

(a) It always pleasant to watch people attempting to present, with all their limitation and knowledge, papers on various subjects. This is how they would get opportunity to ultimately hone their skills. We must not look at their faults but appreciate their little efforts. The only question that looms large is why our learned Chairman did not disclose the names of the speakers till the start of the Workshop? In the notice available at Lucknow Branch's Portal were names

(b) Was our learned chairman afraid that lest they disclose it, members might not turn up? I strongly refute this thinking and advise that this way the only thing going to be accomplished is the broken confidence of the speakers.

(c) Therefore, I again appeal to all the members to come in large numbers to support this display of sycophancy where "Sons, LCAS office bearers" are being made speakers discreetly.

4. Attendance:

I would like to ask our learned Chairman the following:

(a) What are the reasons that necessitated the taking of dual attendance, once at the time of payment of fee when members were required to put their signatures and also during the workshop?

(b) Why this was not communicated to members in advance or at least at the time money was being accepted by them?

(c) Was this a gimmick to retain the members in the workshop?

(d) What does this practice of dual signature actually attempts to achieve? Shouldn't you attempt to retain the members by increasing the level and quality of the workshops than by this?

(e) Have you lost all the faith trust in the members who expressed faith in you and ultimately bestowed the responsibility of running the branch in a pragmatic manner? Isn't this humiliating for all the members for being treated as untrustworthy???

(f) Aren't you promoting an ill habit of being present in the workshop just at the time of the attendance?

(g) The workshop was scheduled at 3:00 P.M. However the registrations were open till 4 pm. Members that enter the workshop at 4 PM and marks his/her attendance at 4:30, according to your formula are very much entitled to a CPE. That's very funny. Aren't you exhibiting dual standards in the name of discipline of whatever?????
